67th Reunion

It seems that time really does fly. Can you believe it has been 67 years since we graduated from Summerlin Institute? Well, if my numbers are correct, that's how long it's been since we walked onto the football field to receive our diplomas.
Over the years our class has had many functions to commemorate our graduation. 2023 is no exception! On Saturday evening, February 18th, we will once again get together. Please plan to be at the Methodist Church building across Broadway from the church to join the fun and stories that are sure to be told (some of them may even be true). We will gather at 5:50 and the meal will be served around 6:30.
Sonny's famous BBQ dinners will be served, and we'll have snacks as well as desserts. Price for the meal is $20 per person and the class will pay for all of the rentals and extra costs from our class treasury, guarded by Mike Marchman.
As the years progress, it's more and more difficult for many of us to travel. We urge you to make the effort to attend before the years catch up and we are unable. During the past, some classmates have been accompanied by a family member or friend. Your guests are welcome.
If you are coming any distance and plan to spend the night, I advise you to make reservations soon. If you run into a problem, call me (941-662-0071) and I'll try to help out.
